The turning point in her career was the film “And God Created Woman” (1956), directed by Roger Vadim, which brought her international recognition and solidified her status as a movie star.

In about 21 years in the cinema, Bardot starred in almost fifty films. At the same time, she participated in musical projects and recorded about 80 songs. The actress was nominated for a British Academy Film Award for her role in the film “Viva Maria!”. She achieved her greatest success in romantic comedy.
