The world’s leading custom chipmaker, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, reported a 39.1% increase in net profit in the third quarter compared to the same period last year, reaching 452.3 billion new Taiwan dollars ($14.8 billion), according to the report.
This is a record, and double-digit profit growth was recorded for the sixth consecutive quarter, according to American media.
TSMC predicts that revenue growth for the current year will be about 35%, compared to the previously expected 30%.
