Intel shares rise amid positive feedback on new processor

Intel Corporation shares rose 6% after preliminary tests of the new Core Ultra 9 275HX processor based on the Arrow Lake architecture were published. The processor showed promising results compared to competitors.

According to a Tom’s Hardware review, the 275HX outperformed the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D by 7% in the CPU Mark test. Intel’s new chip is also 34% faster than its predecessor, the i9-14900HX. It shows a 9% advantage in single-threaded performance despite a 400MHz clock lag.

These preliminary results have aroused the interest of investors, as the Arrow Lake-HX family of processors is expected to be installed in gaming laptops, which are planned for release shortly, along with the release of the Nvidia RTX 50 mobile series.
