Bold, enigmatic, and unapologetically expressive — Kairat is redefining fashion in Dubai. In our exclusive interview, the creative force behind Kai Code shares the inspirations, struggles, and the style philosophy behind his growing empire — where every piece is more than design, it’s a declaration.
Kai, how would you describe your brand identity in three words?
Sensual. Sculptural. Bold.
What does the name “Kai Code” represent — is it a code to be cracked, a personal philosophy, or something else entirely?
It’s both a mystery and a manifesto. “Kai Code” is my personal code — about discipline, freedom, and beauty with meaning. It’s a set of principles I live and create by. Every piece carries a part of that code.
Tell us about your journey — what inspired you to become a designer, and how did your creative story begin?
It started long before COVID — I was always drawn to beauty that speaks without words. In the beginning, it was a need to express what I couldn’t say out loud. I taught myself everything from scratch. No fashion school — just pure obsession, discipline, and a deep hunger to create something real.

Your pieces have a bold, sculptural energy. What emotions or messages do you hope people feel when wearing your designs?
I want them to feel invincible. Seductive. Present. Like they own the room without saying a word. My designs are both armor and invitation — strength with softness, power with mystery.
Do you design with a specific muse or archetype in mind? Who is the Kai Muse woman?
The Kai Muse is a woman who doesn’t ask for permission. She’s magnetic, intuitive, and dangerous in the best way. She may be silent, but you’ll feel her energy across the room.
From concept to creation, what does your design process look like — are you more instinct-driven or structured?
I trust my instinct first, then build structure around it. Inspiration hits like lightning — I sketch fast, then obsess over construction. I’m hands-on, from cutting to fitting. I need to feel the fabric breathe.
You play with silhouettes, textures, and bold minimalism. What draws you to this visual language?
Silhouettes speak before colors. I love the tension between control and chaos — structured lines with sensual fabrics. Less noise, more intention.
Many of your looks feel like wearable art. Where do you draw your inspiration — art, music, architecture, or something unexpected?
Everything. A piece of music. A woman walking alone at night. A cracked wall. A Renaissance painting. But mostly, emotion. I design from emotion first, then translate it into form.

How do you see the future of fashion evolving, and where does Kai Code fit into that vision?
Fashion is becoming more personal, more honest. People are tired of trends — they want meaning. Kai Code is for those who want to wear identity, not just clothes.
Dubai is a vibrant fashion hub. What role does this city play in shaping your brand’s identity?
Dubai gave me space to be fearless. It’s a place of extremes — tradition and innovation, elegance and extravagance. That duality constantly inspires me.
What has been the most rewarding — and most challenging — part of building your own label?
The most rewarding part is seeing someone wear my design and transform. The hardest? Building without help. Every seam, every shoot, every show — I built from nothing. But that’s what makes it mine.
What’s next for Kai Code? Are you planning any new collections, collaborations, or expansions we should be watching for?
Yes — a new collection is coming soon, deeper and even more fearless. We’re also exploring exclusive capsule collaborations and international showcases. Kai Code is going global.
What’s one personal mantra you live by — as a designer, as a man, as a creator?
“Be silent. Let your presence speak.” I don’t believe in chasing. I believe in building something so real, it pulls people in.
If you could dress any woman — past or present — in Kai Code, who would it be and why?
Monica Bellucci. She embodies everything I design for — power, sensuality, timeless presence.
What does “empowered femininity” mean to you? How does your work express that?
Empowered femininity is when a woman owns her softness and strength without needing to explain either. My work gives her structure to stand tall and curves to move like a whisper — confident, seductive, unstoppable.
