The warm days are ending, and with them, Kate Middleton is going through a challenging course of chemotherapy. On her social media page, the Princess of Wales posted a video in which she spoke frankly about her difficult journey of fighting cancer, which she was diagnosed with earlier this year. The footage shows Kate, William, and their three children spending time together in Norfolk, where the royal family has a residence.
“I can’t tell you how relieved I am to finally be finished with chemotherapy,” Catherine began her story with these words, and one can only imagine how much emotion these seemingly simple words have caused her.
During the nine months of treatment, she admitted, her family faced many difficulties.
“Life, as you know, can change instantly, and we had to overcome stormy waters and unknown roads. The road to recovery is hard, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially for those who are close to you,” she shares.
However, even when faced with such challenges, the princess did not give up. After receiving the diagnosis, Kate realized how important it is to have the support of loved ones.
Kate is doing her best to stay cancer-free as long as possible. After all, despite the completion of chemotherapy, her journey to recovery is just beginning.
