King Charles III of Great Britain surprised his subjects with an unusual initiative – he presented an exclusive collection of teddy bears called HM King Charles III. These unique toys can be purchased at the Highgrove House and Gardens gift shop.
A total of 1,948 copies will be produced in honor of the king’s year of birth. Each bear has an individual number and a certificate of authenticity.
The price of one bear is £224.
The toys are made at the legendary British factory Merrythought, which previously created the famous Paddington Bear. The products are crafted from high-quality materials, including silvery mohair plush and soft velvet, adorned with gold embroidery and symbolic elements that represent the highest honors of the British crown.
The paws feature the coat of arms of Great Britain and the manufacturer’s logo. In contrast, the shoulders feature miniature copies of the Royal Victorian Order ribbon and the Order of the Garter star.
The bear is packaged in a luxurious gift box. The store emphasizes that this is a collectible souvenir intended exclusively for adults and is not a children’s toy.
All proceeds from the sale will go to The King’s Foundation, a charity founded by Charles III. The foundation supports young people, veterans, and environmental projects.
