The house where Margaret Thatcher, the influential and determined former British Prime Minister, once lived is being sold in London. The townhouse used to belong to Lord Alistair McAlpine, who offered it to Thatcher when she resigned as prime minister in 1990.

The mansion’s owners want 3.65 million pounds ($4 million) for the lot, as evidenced by an ad published on the real estate website. The building was constructed in the early 1720s and is in the Georgian style, which was typical for the whole of England in the 18th century.
The house’s total area is 200 square meters. It has three bedrooms, a spacious reception hall with an antique fireplace, and a dining room with doors to a private patio garden. The building overlooks the famous Palace of Westminster, where the British Parliament meets.
