Meta Introduces New Line of Branded Smart Glasses

Meta has announced the launch of its proprietary smart glasses collection, Meta Glasses, designed under its own brand name, a departure from its previous collaborations with Ray-Ban and Oakley. The lineup features three models: the Meta Adventurer with a classic rectangular frame, the Meta Fury with a bolder design, and the limited series Glasses by Kylie, created in partnership with influencer Kylie Jenner, who also serves as the face of the promotional campaign.

Users can choose from 26 design options for the frames and lenses, including tinted and prescription lenses. These new glasses are equipped with artificial intelligence features, cameras, headphones, and a voice assistant. They enable users to take hands-free photos and record videos via a 12-megapixel camera, play audio through built-in speakers, make noise-canceled calls, and provide real-time translation in 20 languages. The integrated AI assistant supports swift object recognition and offers recommendations for daily activities.

The device boasts extended battery life — up to eight hours on a single charge, with a charging case extending the usage by approximately 40 hours. The Meta Glasses start at $299, positioning them competitively with the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The limited-edition Glasses by Kylie model comes with a $399 price premium.
