British supermodel Naomi Campbell visited the Vatican for an audience with the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, the first pontiff born in the United States.
For her meeting with the Pope, the 55-year-old star chose an elegant, restrained look: a black Dolce & Gabbana suit, a skirt, and a white shirt. The model complemented the outfit with a classic bag, open-heeled shoes, and a lace mantilla, which is a traditional accessory for visits to the Holy See.
A particularly touching moment was the presentation of a gift – Campbell presented the pontiff with a book about the history of spices and their influence on the development of cuisine and culture – La Via Delle Spezie (“The Way of Spices”).

Interestingly, eyewitnesses reported that the audience was held in a warm, respectful atmosphere. Naomi thanked the Pope for his openness to dialogue with cultural and fashion figures and noted that “meeting with a person who symbolizes peace and spirituality is a privilege and inspiration,” the BBC reports.
As a reminder, the audience, in which Campbell participated, also brought together other legendary guests – previously among them were Al Pacino and Robert de Niro.
