After collaborating with Comme des Garçons, Nike is actively expanding its ties with designer brands. The next partner was Melitta Baumeister and her eponymous brand, which already showed the first experimental models of the Vomero Premium and Pegasus Premium sneakers in a “worn” style.
The next step in the partnership took place in March 2025 during the Fall 2025 collection. Baumeister introduced a new version of the Air Max Muse, a women’s model with a unique sole resembling cement protrusions that extend through holes in the sneaker’s upper. Three options debuted on the catwalk: an industrial-style gray. This gray-green version combines urban and natural shades, and a variation inspired by the “oil-green” color of the standard model.

Almost a year after its initial reveal, the Melitta Baumeister x Nike Air Max Muse collaboration has resurfaced in a new Hartcopy photoshoot, which could be seen as confirmation of the collaboration’s upcoming release. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
Fans are advised to stay tuned for the experimental model, which will be presented in a new conceptual style.
The collaboration is part of Nike’s broader strategy to strengthen the connection between sportswear and high fashion.
