The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has announced the winners of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics. This year, the prestigious award was shared by three scientists: John Clarke, Michel Devore, and John Martinis. The results were announced on the official website of the prize.
The scientists were awarded “for their discovery of macroscopic quantum-mechanical tunneling and the quantization of energy in an electric circuit.”
This year’s Nobel Prize is worth 11 million Swedish kronor, which is approximately one million euros. The scientists will share this amount equally.
