Nvidia shares hit a new all-time high

On Monday, Nvidia shares reached another all-time high, continuing their rapid growth. Yahoo Finance reports that the stock closed up 4.14% to $143.71, bringing its annual gain to 190.2%.

The recent surge comes after Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, which counts Nvidia as one of its largest customers, said late last week that demand for AI is “real” and “sustainable.”

TSMC said that revenues from AI server processors will more than triple this year, accounting for about a dozen percent of its total revenue in 2024.

In addition, a major Microsoft customer, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, increased orders for NVIDIA GB200 by threefold in the fourth quarter — from 400 to 1450 racks.
