Deacon Phillip, the 20-year-old son of Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon, has decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and become an actor. Deadline reports that the young man will debut in the lead role in the feature film Four Kids Go to the Bank, and his co-star will be Schindler’s List star Liam Neeson.
The cast also includes Talia Ryder, Noah Jupe, Whitney Peake, and Jack Dylan Grazer. The plot of the film tells the story of Danny, a former bank robber who values his relationship with his granddaughter Paige. When the girl discovers that her grandfather’s friends are trying to drag him into dirty deeds again, she asks her friends to help her rob a bank, outrunning the real criminals.
It’s worth noting that this is not the first time Reese Witherspoon’s son will be in front of the camera. Deacon played a small role in the third season of the Netflix series I Never Had It a few years ago. Until recently, he was more interested in music – he even released his debut song, Long Run.
