Tim Burton, an American director who created films with recognizable gothic elements and specific humor, received a personalized star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. The ceremony took place as part of the promotional tour of his new film Beatlejuice.
His beloved actress Monica Bellucci came to support the legendary director and the film’s actors above – Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Danny DeVito.
The star with the name 66-year-old Burton was placed in front of the Hollywood Toys & Costumes store on Hollywood Boulevard. This is no coincidence, according to the director himself, who has been a longtime fan of the store since he was a child and often came to look at the toys.
Throughout his career, Burton has given moviegoers many films that have become cult favorites: “Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, two Batman films, Dark Shadows, the Wesday series with Jenna Ortega, and he also created the animated films The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.
