On July 8, Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo created a YouTube channel and in less than 90 minutes gained the million subscribers needed to get the golden button. The footballer won the award on August 21.
Ronaldo announced this on his Instagram page.
The American sports TV channel ESPN writes that the footballer set a world record for being the fastest to gain a millionth audience on YouTube. The platform officially congratulated him on this.
