Sony Corp. has raised the recommended price of PlayStation 5 for Europe by about 25%.
According to the company’s website, this decision was made due to the difficult economic situation, including high inflation and significant currency fluctuations.
The recommended price for the digital version of the PlayStation 5 in continental Europe will be €499.99 starting April 14 and £429.99 (about $566) in the UK.
The price of the PS5 with Blu-ray disc drive and PS5 Pro will remain unchanged.
