Music service Spotify has summarized the global music results for 2024 in different countries and launched the traditional format of personal Wrapped, which summarizes the year for each user personally.
The world’s best artists
Singer Taylor Swift was again recognized as the world’s most popular artist for the second year. This year, Swift’s songs were listened to 26.6 billion times.
Other artists at the top are The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, Billy Eilish, Travis Scott, Peso Pluma, Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Feid.

The song “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter was named the song of the year. The top five songs are “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” by Billie Eilish, “Gata Only” by Floyd Menor and Cris Mj, and “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.

THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY, written by Taylor Swift. The second most popular album was HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish. The top five albums were Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO by Karol G, and Eternal Sunshine by Ariana Grande.
Other top albums are 1989 (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift, SOS by SZA, Lover by Taylor Swift, Fireworks & Rollerblades by Benson Boone, and Starboy by The Weeknd.

This year, the song that stuck in everyone’s head was “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
