The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has launched its first Smart Cities Index, which ranks 61 of the world’s largest cities by how they use artificial intelligence and digital technologies to improve residents’ lives, Time Out reports.
Experts analyzed cities based on five key criteria:
- quality of life and outcomes for residents;
- development strategy;
- digital adoption;
- city government performance;
- financing, talent, and infrastructure.
