TikTok has announced it will hold its first TikTok Awards ceremony in the United States. The event will take place on December 18 at the Hollywood Palladium concert hall in Los Angeles.
The TikTok Awards will include several categories, including “Creator of the Year”, “Video of the Year”, “Muse of the Year”, “Breakthrough of the Year”, and others. The company announced the award a few weeks after Instagram announced its own – Ring. Unlike its competitor, TikTok decided to hold a full offline ceremony with a live broadcast.
Representatives of the social network noted that the event will have a red carpet, live performances, and an audience of popular authors and bloggers. The broadcast will be available in the TikTok application and on the Tubi platform, and the recording will be available the next day, December 19.
Voting for participants will open on November 18 on the new TikTok portal. Users will be able to choose their favorite authors in various nominations.
