The para triathlon competition was postponed due to pollution of the Seine

The Paralympic Games 2024 in Paris has postponed the para-triathlon competition due to the deterioration of water quality in the Seine River. Earlier, training and competitions were delayed at the 2024 Summer Olympics due to the decline in river water levels.

This was reported by the International Paralympic Committee.

The para triathlon competitions were to take place on September 1. However, after the rain over the past two days, tests showed a decline in water quality. Now, all 11 para triathlon competitions have been postponed to September 2.

However, this still depends on future water tests.
