World artists are always trying to create unique songs and albums, hoping they will conquer the hearts of the audience and the charts. Unfortunately, not all songs are successful, and sometimes, they even end up in an anti-rating.
This year, as many as 15 artists appeared on it, including the well-known Pitbull, Camila Cabello, and Nicki Minaj, and this is not the whole list.
Katy Perry’s song Woman’s World, which was supposed to tell the story of purposeful and strong women, is on the first line of the anti-rating, but the attempt failed.
The second place was taken by the track Think U The Shit (Fart) by rap artist Ice Spice. Critics note that the translation of the song’s title is eloquent and speaks for itself. And they consider it a shame that modern performers believe in the uniqueness of such compositions.
According to experts, Nicki Minaj’s song Big Foot is no different from its predecessors and demonstrates the singer’s lack of professionalism because “it’s hard to listen to for anyone. There are so many incomprehensible verses”.
Next on the list is Jojo Siwa’s song “Karma.” With this track, she wanted to show the whole world the change in her image from a “good” girl to a “bad” girl. However, experts believe that this demonstration was not convincing.
Unexpectedly, however, the song “I Luv” by the famous singer Camila Cabello and rapper Playboi Carti also received an anti-rating. Experts noted that some of the lyrics sounded too unintelligible, and Camila repeated the exact phrase throughout the song.
Brian Kelly’s Kiss My Boots completes the list of the worst songs of 2024.
The last song in the anti-rating is a joint song by Meghan Trainor and rapper T-Pain – Been Like This. Musicologists consider it unsuccessful because the artists have entirely different repertoires.
