The 67th Grammy Awards – 2025, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of music, took place in Los Angeles. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences members announced the main music triumphants of the year at the Crypto.com Arena.
The award nominees opened the show with a song dedicated to Los Angeles, which suffered from wildfires. This theme was a red thread throughout the ceremony: the host and artists spoke about it, and a QR code on the screen allowed people to send donations to the victims of the disaster.
Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, Charli Xcx, and Kendrick Lamar collected the most awards. The Rolling Stones and The Beatles also won Grammys for John Lennon’s song Now and Then, restored with artificial intelligence’s help.

After Carpenter’s spectacular performance, rapper and Grammy winner Cardi B took the stage to present the award for the best rap album.
The statuette was awarded to Doechii for her album Alligator Bites Never Heals, leaving behind J. Cole, Eminem, and the duo Future & Metro Boomin. She is the third rapper to win this award: the first was Lauren Hill and Cardi B herself.
The award for Best Vocal Performance went to Sabrina Carpenter for her album Short n’Sweet.

Award winner, Olivia Rodrigo announced Chappelle Roan’s performance. The artist sang Pink Pony Club against the backdrop of colorful cowboy scenery.
After the performance, Taylor Swift took the stage to present the Best Country Album award to Beyoncé and her album COWBOY CARTER. The singer became the first blVictoria Monet, the previous year’s winner, announced the winner in this nomination.

At the 2025 Grammys, The Weeknd performed Cry For Me and Timeless from his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow.
Last year’s winner, Miley Cyrus, presented the winning statuette in the Record of the Year category. The winner was Kendrick Lamar, who had his track Not Like Us. The song was released as one of Drake’s CDs but eventually became one of the year’s biggest hits.

Iconic singer and songwriter Diana Ross was invited to announce the Song of the Year. The winner was Kendrick Lamar with his song Not Like Us. This is the twenty-first Recording Academy award in the rapper’s career.
The Los Angeles firefighters announced the main award – “Album of the Year”. The winner is Beyoncé and her album COWBOY CARTER. This is the singer’s first victory in the nomination: previously, she was predicted to receive a statuette for her critically and audience-acclaimed albums Beyoncé, Lemonade, and Renaissance, but academics awarded the victory to other works.
However, despite the large number of nominations, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish did not receive statuettes this year.

- Best Rock Performance: The Beatles – Now and Then
- Best Country Performance by a Duo: Beyoncé & Miley Cyrus – II Most Wanted
- Best Pop Performance by a Duo/Group: Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars – Die With a Smile
- Best music for visual media (movies, TV): Hans Zimmer – “Dune: Part Two.”
