ChatGPT adds a deep research feature

Artificial intelligence addresses the role of artificial intelligence in the film industry

OpenAI has introduced Deep Research, a new ChatGPT tool for “deep” research. This was reported by OpenAI.

The function works like this: you ask ChatGPT something, and it finds and analyzes hundreds of online sources. Then, it creates a comprehensive report at the “analyst-researcher” level. This will help researchers in the fields of finance, politics, or engineering. For everyday users, Deep Research will be useful when making important purchases, such as a car or an apartment.

The process of one such research will take 5-30 minutes. The feature is based on the o3 model and is capable of reasoning. It is already available to ChatGPT Pro users in the US, with a limit of 100 studies per month. The feature will be extended to other subscribers later.

At the same time, OpenAI recognizes that ChatGPT may invent facts, pass off rumors as truth, and provide incomplete assessments during in-depth analysis. Therefore, information found in this way still needs to be verified.

For now, the tool works exclusively in the web version of ChatGPT, while integration with mobile devices and computers is promised soon.
