The American magazine Time called the “Man of the Year” of US President-elect Donald Trump.
Time notes that since Trump first ran for president in 2015, “no one has played a greater role in changing the course of politics and history.”
Time believes Trump has changed American politics. He won this year’s election and made his team of supporters even bigger. He became the first Republican in 20 years to win more votes than a Democrat. From the previous election in 2020, 9 out of 10 Republican districts increased support for Trump.
The magazine writes that members of Congress, international institutions, and world leaders again agreed with Trump’s whims even before he officially became president — and “Trumpworld’s carousel of characters spins again.”
Trump was already the Man of the Year – in 2016 when he first won the US presidential election.
