The legendary American actor Tom Cruise has been officially recognized as an “honorary Briton” after living in the United Kingdom for many years.
The 62-year-old Mission Impossible star bought a property in London in 2020 and settled in the prestigious Biggin Hill neighborhood. Since then, he has been spending a lot of time there and has even started filming in the UK more often than in the US.
His friend and co-star Kenneth Branagh said that Tom fits in well with British life: he has learned to make cockney jokes, goes to village pubs, and constantly communicates with locals in a friendly manner. According to Brana, Cruz has already fully settled into London and feels at home.
At a ceremony hosted by the British Film Institute, Cruise thanked them for the recognition and said he had much work ahead of him.
