US President Donald Trump has raised duties on China and announced a 90-day pause with reduced duties of 10% for other countries.

He wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.

The US president said the duties for China will be 125% and will take effect immediately. He explained this decision by citing “the disrespect that China has shown for global markets.”

Trump added that more than 75 countries have approached the United States to discuss trade, trade barriers, and duties and have not taken any retaliatory measures against the United States.
