Apple introduced a new laptop – MacBook Neo. This is the most affordable laptop in the company’s line: the starting price is $599, and for students, it is $499.

The new device received a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with high resolution, increased brightness, and support for one billion colors. The case is made of aluminum and available in four colors: light pink, dark blue, silver, and citrus.

The laptop runs on the A18 Pro chip. Apple says it’s up to 50% faster at everyday tasks like web browsing and app use, and nearly 3 times faster at AI tasks than Intel’s Core Ultra 5 processors.
Other features include a Magic Keyboard, a large Multi-Touch trackpad, and macOS Tahoe with built-in apps like Messages, Pages, Calendar, and Safari. The laptop also supports iPhone integration and Apple Intelligence features.
The device can last up to 16 hours on a single charge. It also features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, dual microphones, and speakers with Spatial Audio. Pre-orders for the MacBook Neo opened on March 4, and sales will begin on March 11.
