On Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, bitcoin rose in price by 4.85 percent overnight to $96,486.
Recall that after Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election, the bitcoin rate has already broken the record several times. The most popular cryptocurrency in the world has more than doubled from the year’s low of $38,505 after Trump supported digital assets during his election campaign. He promised to make the U.S. the “crypto capital of the planet” and amass a national bitcoin reserve.
