Czech supermodel of the 1990s Eva Herzigová has officially tied the knot with Italian businessman Gregorio Marsiaj, with whom she shares three sons, after nearly 25 years together. The ceremony took place in Turin and commenced with a wedding liturgy at the San Vito church, where the 53-year-old bride was traditionally escorted down the aisle by her father. For the occasion, Herzigová wore a vintage midi dress by the Lanvin fashion house, complementing her look with white bow-embellished sandals and a classic bouquet of white flowers.
The groom arrived at the event in a vintage 1989 Aston Martin V8, accompanied by their sons. Following the religious ceremony, a civil wedding took place at the historic Palazzo Carignano, and celebrations concluded with a wedding dinner at the renowned restaurant Del Cambio in Turin. The event was intimate, hosting approximately 50 guests, including famous supermodels Marpessa Hennink, Carmen Kass, and Mariacarla Boscono, modeling agent David Brown, TV presenter Jill Cooper, and journalist and writer Francesca Barra.
Eva Herzigová and Gregorio Marsiaj began their relationship in 2001 in the Italian town of Varigotti, where the model found herself due to temporary flight suspensions following the events of September 11. The couple publicly announced their engagement in 2017, yet decided to wed eight years later. Earlier, Herzigová had expressed no plans to remarry. Notably, this marks Herzigová’s second marriage: in 1996, she wed Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres, and their divorce was finalized in 1998.
