The Princess of Wales made her first public appearance since completing chemotherapy last month. She and her husband, Prince William, visited the Southport Community Center to meet with rescuers and families affected by the tragic knife attack at a Taylor Swift-style dance class.
On July 29, a 17-year-old teenager attacked a dance studio with a knife in the English city of Southport. The incident killed three children aged 6 to 9.
“Today’s meeting was another reminder of how important it is to support each other in the face of an incredible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you!” the royal couple wrote on social media.
For the meeting, Kate chose a maroon dress with white polka dots by Whistles, over which she wore a fitted chocolate coat by Alexander McQueen. The princess’s autumn look was completed with suede Gianvito Rossi shoes and a laconic Emmy London clutch. Leaf-shaped earrings by Zoraida served as jewelry.
