British actress Kate Winslet will make her debut as a director soon. Moreover, the 49-year-old celebrity will make her first film based on the script of her 21-year-old son Joe Anders.
According to Variety, it will be a family drama titled Goodbye June and will be released on Netflix. The plot details have not been disclosed yet. Still, it is reported that the story’s characters will be “separated siblings who come together in difficult circumstances.”
Winslet will direct the movie and appear in the frame – he will play one of the main roles along with Toni Collette and Helen Mirren.
The cast includes Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, and Timothy Spall.
