Hollywood movie star Keanu Reeves has tried his hand at piloting a sports car and participated in professional car racing for the first time. The Guardian reports that the 60-year-old actor debuted at the North American Toyota GR Cup in Indianapolis as part of the Eagles Canyon Racing team.
Keanu drove a Toyota GR86 car number 92, and Reeves’ name and the Canadian flag were added to the sports car frame.
The competition took place at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. However, the actor finished 25th out of 35 participants because he lost control of the car on one of the turns, and it went off the road.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or severe damage. The actor got his sports car back on the track in a few seconds and continued racing.
This is not the first time Keanu Reeves has competed as a pilot in a race. In 2009, he won a Toyota competition among celebrities.
