Heritage Auctions, in partnership with the Matthew Perry Foundation, has announced an auction scheduled for June 5, showcasing 130 personal items of the late actor, renowned for his role in the television series “Friends.” Among the featured lots are a handwritten letter from Jennifer Aniston addressed to Matthew Perry, as well as a photo album titled “The One with the Last Supper,” containing behind-the-scenes photographs of the cast members Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Jennifer Aniston, taken following the conclusion of filming the series’ final episode in 2004.

In her letter, Jennifer Aniston refers to Matthew Perry as a “husband and father,” emphasizing his struggles and the importance of his role in his friends’ lives. She expresses gratitude for his resilience and support. She reminisces about their first meeting at a bar on La Cienega Boulevard. The letter concludes with messages of support and love.

Apart from the letter and photo album, the auction will include 26 scripts from the “Friends” series, a replica of the yellow frame surrounding the peephole on Monica Geller’s apartment door, collectible Batman-related items, Perry’s wallet, a 1995 Screen Actors Guild Award, and works by the artist Banksy.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Matthew Perry Foundation, which assists individuals facing addiction-related challenges. The foundation was established following the actor’s passing on October 28, 2023.
