OpenAI launches ChatGPT AI translator

OpenAI to launch the latest AI model, Orion

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Translate, the beta version of which works for free based on AI models, writes Android Authority, which drew attention to the launch of the new service. There has been no official announcement from OpenAI yet, but ChatGPT Translate is already available to users on a separate website.

The service supports more than 50 languages. The company plans to add image translation. Voice input is currently only available via the mobile site’s microphone. There is also no ability to upload documents, no handwriting input function, and no real-time conversations, which are available in Google Translate, according to Android Authority.

The main difference between ChatGPT Translate and Google Translate is the availability of options to change the translation style. In ChatGPT Translate, you can request a translation in a business style, adapt it for an academic audience, or simplify it for a child.
