Pamela Anderson Declines Participation in the ‘Baywatch’ Reboot

Pamela Anderson has radically changed her image

Fox reported that Pamela Anderson will not be participating in the planned reboot of the television series ‘Baywatch,’ which is currently in production in California for the 2026-2027 season. According to a source close to the production, the actress turned down the producers’ offer as she prefers to focus on new projects rather than return to portraying C.J. Parker. This role brought her international fame in the 1990s. The reboot, announced last September, envisions a contemporary reimagining of the original series with an updated cast and plotlines, without emphasizing the return of former stars. However, some cast members from the original series, including Erika Eleniak as Shauni McClain, are set to join the new project. The new season features a younger cast and a modernized approach to the lifeguard theme. Simultaneously, Fox announced an open casting call for this project, offering opportunities to emerging talent regardless of prior acting experience.
