According to the local industry association La Plateforme Automobile, 3157 electric vehicles manufactured by the American Tesla were registered in France in March, 36.8% less than a year earlier.
In the first quarter, 6.69 thousand Tesla electric cars were sold, which is 41.1% less than in the same period in 2024. Sales declined in each of the three months.
Sales of cars with all types of engines in France in March decreased by 14.5% to 153.84 thousand, in January-March – by 7.8% to 410,085 units.
At the same time, sales of electric vehicles in the country in the first quarter increased by 18.2% to 74.52 thousand.
