Warner Bros. to re-release Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Warner Bros. is preparing to re-release Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, Variety reports.

To mark the anniversary, the film will be re-released on the big screen, along with special collector’s editions and merchandise featuring the anniversary logo. Thematic promotions will be held in retail stores. As noted by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the celebration “honors the legacy of the film and reveals its magic to a new generation of viewers.”

The premiere of the first part of the “Potteriana” took place on November 16, 2001. It marked the beginning of one of the most successful franchises in cinema history. It made famous young actors Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
